Whitney surprised the students at Lakeland
Elementary to get them amped and ready for the STAAR Test during their STAAR Testing Prep Rally.
Whitney threw a surprise party for special need and leadership student at Booker T Washington High School.
Whitney spent time with kids from Houston and Fort Bend area school for McDonalds Touchdown A big NFL experience for the Jr. superstars in the community.
Whitney received the 6th annual Sprit of the Bull Award for excellence on the field and in in the community.

Whitney and his foundation held their 2nd Annual back to school event, Returning 2 Learning, at Audrey Lawson Middle School. This year they were able to provide free haircuts, hairstyle, school supplies and vouchers for school clothes to 500 students. Additionally, they donated $10,000.00 to Lawson’s Special Education Department.
Whitney created Returning 2 Learning to assist students in returning to school with their necessities after Hurricane Harvey.
The foundation focused on assisting children with autism. The WithMerci Foundation presented a total of $40,000.00 in donations to Easter Seals of Greater Houston, F.A.C.E.S. and Autism Rescue Angels. Each organization provides advocate services and support to families with autistic children.

Whitney traded in his cleats for running shoes to participate in Easter Seals 7th Annual Walk With Me 5K Family Fun Walk. This event raises awareness and resources for programs of Easter Seals.
Whitney made it his priority to find ways to make a difference in the lives of children around the world. Through the WithMerci Foundation, he traveled to Haiti utilizing resources to make an impact in the Haiti community.
Whitney hosted the first-ever AHA NFL PLAY 60 Challenge Virtual Feld Trip during Super Bowl 51 NFL Experience, to teach students the science behind cardio and strength exercises that NFL players use to stay fit and active. PLAY 60 is the National Football League's campaign to encourage kids to be active for 60 minutes a day in order to help reverse the trend of childhood obesity.

In addition to the pride Whitney takes in starting and working through the WithMerci Foundation, he is uplifted by seeing his entire community thrive. Whitney seeks to be a ROLE MODEL, ADVOCATE & AMBASSADOR throughout the world and particularly in the places closest to his heart, including Houston and Haiti.
